Joy Belle, three months.

How old is baby? 3 months, 4 days.
Best moment(s)? Seeing her smile, especially when she sees me for the first time in the mornings.
Favorite food(s)? This is an obvious answer, milk.
Sleep? She’s only slept through the night twice now, but only wakes up once to eat (at 4 am). She goes right back to sleep.  And she can sleep through lots of loud noises, which I am so thankful for.
Activity? She loves “playtime” but she’s usually tuckered out after about 15 minutes. She kicks her legs and is gradually gaining more control of her hands/arms. But for the most part, she just flails her arms around. She’s starting to grab things a lot more.
Mood(s)? Overall, she’s always happy and content. Although, she knows how to throw a good tantrum if she’s hungry or sleepy.
Growth? At her last casting, we weighed her with me holding her and she weighed 12 lbs. She’s also getting so long!
Favorite toy(s)? My parents (her Gran & Poppy) brought her back this teething lion. It rattles and is easy for her to hold. She loves it!
What is baby’s favorite thing to do with Mommy? I love to read to her, she just coos and smiles back at me. But if she could talk – I’d say her favorite thing to do with mommy is eat.
What is baby’s favorite thing to do with Daddy? She loves for Daddy to hold her (facing outward). I think she feels grown, because she gets to see so much. She loves when he gets home from work.
Likes? She loves to sit up (or be held up), her mermaid dolly, Soothie pacifiers, milk, ceiling fans, daddy, and mommy.

Dislikes? She’s not a fan of tummy time, Chipper’s loud bark, her hands being under blankets, or loud clapping.

Although this list may continue to grow with Joy Belle, I thought I’d start these monthly posts by answering the simple questions above. She’s constantly changing and we are continuously seeing more of her personality. I find myself constantly thinking, this is my favorite stage – but it just keeps getting better and better.

I’ll be playing catch-up on the monthly posts this week – one and two months are in the drafts.
