Britt Colby | eight months

Our little Britt man is such a chill baby. Although, he’s quickly crawling right out of the baby stage and growing way too fast for this mama’s heart. Of all the monthly pictures, I feel like these most accurately portray his chill personality.

BRITT COLBY, 8 MONTHS

HOW OLD IS BABY?

8 months, 28 days. (ahem, almost 9 months)

BEST MOMENT(S)?

Smacking his little lips. He likes to do this to let us know he wants more food or milk.

FAVORITE FOOD(S)?

He still wants table food and anything we have on our plates. His favorites are bananas, rice, broccoli, noodles, carrots, beets & guava, green beans, and apples. Most of those he eats in puree form.

SLEEP?

He is still waking up 1-2 times in a night. He usually nurses and goes right back to sleep.

ACTIVITY?

Crawling, climbing, and trying to stand up. He can do it, but he’s not super stable yet. It definitely won’t be long. And when he crawls, he still crawls up on his tippy toes like a little crab.

MOOD(S)?

Content, happy, chill, and relaxed.

GROWTH?

He’s wearing 6-9 month clothing.

FAVORITE TOY(S)?

Basically any toy he can pull out of a box, off of a shelf, or off the bookcase. He loves light up toys and books. Right now, he’s especially into reading/flipping the pages.

WHAT IS BABY’S FAVORITE THING TO DO WITH MOMMY?

Nursing tops this list, but followed closely by anything. He’s my hip baby and a total mama’s boy right now.

WHAT IS BABY’S FAVORITE THING TO DO WITH DADDY?

Daddy likes to take him outside, which is one of Britt’s absolute favorite things. It just makes it extra special when it’s with Daddy.

LIKES?

He loves to take a bath! He could splash in the water for hours. He also really loves to swing, read, be outside, and get into stuff.

DISLIKES?

He’s not a fan of diaper changes, but really – who would be?

IS BABY DOING ANYTHING NEW?

Nothing exceptionally new, but he’s still trying to master standing.

MORE ABOUT BRITT COLBY

He loves, loves, loves to read & his favorite book is: If I were a Monkey. It has a soft little tail that hangs from the book and it’s super easy for him to hold.
