patriotic party

A few weeks back, I helped host a patriotic sprinkle for a sweet, expecting mommy. She’s expecting their 2nd baby and it’s a precious baby boy due the first of July. Since he’s expected to arrive near America’s birthday, we thought the theme fit perfectly.

The prep was quite simple, as we stuck to traditional barbecue foods – barbecue, potato salad, fresh fruit, and chips. Our sweet friend, Sara is a baker and handmade these mini, apple pies just for the occasion. Would you believe they were even more delicious than they are beautiful?

We ordered this presidential board book for kids and asked guests to write notes to baby Griffin. We also had custom invitations and “Vote Baby Griffin for President” stickers printed. I absolutely love these little details like these.

(Shameless plug: You can order custom invitations, announcements, and stationery from my Etsy shop here.)  Proud big sister will be voting for baby brother come 2052!We had such a great turn out and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. Most importantly, baby Griffin and mommy were sprinkled with lots of love and gifts. Congratulations, Jetta! You, Justin, Rosie, and baby boy are loved greatly. Can’t wait to meet that baby boy this summer.

And huge shoutout to the other hostesses: Hannah, Katie, and Teal. It wouldn’t have been possible without each of you!
