One of my favorite uses for my essential oils are my homemade hand soaps, sprays, moisturizers, and balms. Essential oils are a part of our daily routines, so it’s important to me for them to be easy to access. I’ve shared some of our DIY recipes before, but I thought it would be helpful to include our favorites + some of the containers I use too.
Handsoap
1 cap full of Thieves® household cleaner
2-3 drops of my favorite essential oil (Lemon, Lavender, or Eucalyptus)
fill with distilled water (I usually do this first, leaving a little space for the cleaner & oil, to keep it from bubbling over)
Night Serum / Pretty Face Moisturizer
10 drops of Frankincense
10 drops of Lavender
5 drops of Tea Tree
fill with jojoba oil
(I usually add 1 drop of Gentle Baby to the mix in my hand before bed.)

5 drops of Grapefruit
1 tsp of witch hazel

As a general rule of thumb, I use a 1 drop: 1 tablespoon ratio with the kids recipes and a 1 drop: 1 teaspoon ratio for me and Justin.
