It should come as no surprise to anyone that I’d introduce my girl to the world of art at a very young age. So at the prime age of 6 months, I pulled out ziplock bags and paint for an afternoon craft. A minimal mess activity, it’s really a great craft for all young ages.
- gallon ziplock bags
- craft paper
- paints in your favorite colors
Not only did Joy Belle enjoy smearing the paint (& eating the ziplock bags), but I was left with two beautiful pieces of art to display.
While her paintings were drying, we squished her tiny hands and feet prints for a little keepsake. I couldn’t love how it turned out more. Anything that encourages creativity is right up our alley of fun.
