To my Love,
Today, on your 24th birthday – I am listing (go figure) the many reasons I love and appreciate you as my husband and friend! Because, if it weren’t for your existence – only the Lord knows where I’d be today. So, here it goes…
If it weren’t for you, November 18th would be just another day… and so would May 5th.
If it weren’t for you, there wouldn’t be so many photos of these silly faces!
If it weren’t for you, our toilets would never get cleaned. Who knew you were such a great cleaner? Not I, said the wife.
If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t have but half the laundry, dishes, and cooking – but, that would be no fun!
If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t have the best proposal story ever!
If it weren’t for you, I would’ve never learned to ski or witnessed a Colorado blizzard or experienced skiing down the side of a mountain.
If it weren’t for you, I would’ve never ran/walked/survived these 13.1 miles…
If it weren’t for you, I would’ve never expanded my palate to discover some of our favorites, such as hummus, sushi, spice, and oysters!
If it weren’t for you, I’d probably be well on my way to becoming an old maid.
If it weren’t for you, I would’ve missed out on this great big, awesome family.
If it weren’t for you, I would not be where I am today – the happiest I’ve ever been, experiencing things I’d never dreamed, conquering life with one handsome fella, and enjoying each and everyday with the man of my dreams. With you, I’m excited about our future and all the Lord has planned for us. So, thank you for loving me. Thank you for choosing me. Thank you for being loving, kind, sincere, and a good time! Thank you for making me laugh. Thank you for challenging me and encouraging me to strive harder. Thank you for your strong, Christian leadership in our home. Thank you for being you!
As I was typing out my thank-yous, I realized I owe some pretty big thank-yous to: the Lord, for creating you especially for me; your mother, for giving birth to you a mere 24 years ago; and your dad, for raising you to be the man of my dreams. So thank you, Jesus! And thank you, Teresa and Barry – you’ve raised a handsome, awesome man, friend, and husband.Happy Birthday, Justin! I love you. your wife
ps. Happy late birthday to my 1st cousin, Bailey! And, happy early birthday to J’s 1st cousin, Jackson! We love y’all!!
