december birchbox

It’s here, it’s here! Each time I open my mailbox to find a pink box filled with goodies – I get so excited. This time was no different, as I eagerly unwrapped my gold and pink accented box.

Just in time for Christmas, I discovered several new products that are ideal for stocking stuffers! I also unveiled several new favorites for my personal collection.

December Birchbox

[1] Kérastase Resistence Ciment Thermique – Protect [2] the Balm® cosmetics Mary-Lou Manizer [3] Emily’s Chocolates Chocolate Covered Fortune Cookies [4] Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Repair CC Cream [5] Nicole by Nicole Richie [ 6] $50 Gift Card to Rent the Runway

Kérastase Resistence Ciment Thermique – Protect is ideal for long, damaged hair. It’s purpose is to mend the broken ends, while protecting your hair from further heat damage. In fact, the product’s heat-activatived formula protects and strengthens your hair. I can’t rave enough about the product. In a little over a week (and using it daily), I’ve already noticed a tremendous difference in my long locks. Not only have I noticed improvement, but the leave-in conditioner smells fabulous. After towel drying my hair, I apply the leave-in conditioner – before drying or styling and I’ve been very satisfied with the results. (Full size, $39 on Birchbox.)

the Balm® cosmetics Mary-Lou Manizer is another new favorite. This illuminizer is perfect for highlighting, a bit of shimmer, and eye-shadow – the shade is great too! (Full size, $24 on Birchbox.)

Emily’s Chocolates Chocolate Covered Fortune Cookies were a bit of a surprise, but very delicious. My fortune predicted a wonderful, holiday season for me and my family – which was sweet,  but it was the rich, dark chocolate with peppermint flavor that was truly sweet. (Box of Six, $5.99 on Birchbox.)

Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Repair CC Cream isn’t something I would typically purchase, but it is nice. Personally, I don’t wear liquid makeup (i.e. liquid foundation), so initially I was turned off. The CC Cream is very smooth, smells faintly like Fruit Loops (in my opinion), and is perfect for concealing dark circles and spots. Although I typically shy away from “liquids” this CC Cream is actually one I’d recommend. I received the “Warm Glow” shade and have used it several times over the last week. (Full size, $39 on Birchbox.)

Nicole by Nicole Richie is a lovely scent and I believe perfect for fall/winter, but I found it to be a bit overwhelming. Although I must confess, I’ve been a bit like Sneezy the Dwarf lately. So, after my body gets re-adjusted to the crazy, south Georgia weather – I’m going to give it a go again. (Full size, $55 on Birchbox.)

$50 Gift Card to RentTheRunway.com | A new website (and concept) to me, I was thrilled to not only discover a site to rent a fancy gown, but also to receive a gift card! Although I don’t have an occasion in mind right now, I can’t wait to use my RentTheRunway.com gift card.

With Christmas just around the corner and many of us still shopping for gifts, any of these products would be great for stuffing a stocking! Not to mention, I know several of friends and family who’d love a Birchbox subscription – and I’m sure you do too.
